For the previous 15 years, a popular American television programme has followed a simple, yet fascinating premise. Aired in virtually every single US television market, Big Brother is an internet reality show, in which two American strangers, disconnected from the rest of the world, live in a house together. They are forced to share a bathroom, a bedroom and virtually every other area using their much larger, poorer, outsider neighbour, known only by a computer-generated code name, Bzzy. The show's creator, Kevin Kline, was inspired by the US prison system and also real-world examples of how people can get along when they are all alone, in precisely the exact same room, for many weeks. The show has gotten so popular that it's being broadcast globally, with episodes regularly being shown on Al Jazeera and other global television programs. The enduring popularity of the series is likely to be down to its simplicity - tv can often be quite messy and may pose a huge challenge to individuals trying to make television programs, and particularly to children who have very little experience of how the creative process works. However, perhaps the biggest reason for the enduring success stems from how it appeals to the market represented by both middle-class Americans and poor, immigrant kids growing up in Florida, Texas and New York. In summary: Everybody loves a kid series. This new influx of applicants had been made up of 14 new houseguests that were voted to the contest, bringing the entire amount of players up into a finalist. During the reveal of the new contestants, a clip was shown of among the newest arrivals speaking about how he was planning to play with the game. This soon caused a surge of interest in the series and lots of net users could discover more information regarding the new crop of gamers. Many were amazed by the inclusion of a confession video, provided that no confession movie is allowed during any Big Brother competition. It also means that individuals who have previously competed are now even more interested in taking part in the contests. Once the new crop of applicants started competing in the August contest, the show's producers immediately understood that they needed a hit on their hands. After the August finale, viewership increased hugely and evaluations steadily climbed. From there, it's only been a smooth ride ever since as the show continues to grow in popularity.
