Hope is there: new school for Nigerian children

It would seem that the world is progressing so quick, scientific and technological progress, the production of robots, smart technology, televisions, telephones, and the Internet . All this has long become a piece of of human life, and without many applications and technologies , a person just cannot exist . But the sad fact is that there are still men on the planet who cannot read and write, who do not get at least a basic education.

Nigeria has set itself ambitious educational aims : the nation must improve the quality of general education, and subdue school toilets on the streets, digital illiteracy, and lack of equipment . And all because only 39% of children get primary education at school. To achieve the goals, they visualize it to allocate budget funds each year for the construction of schools in Nigerian villages. However, most of the funds moves to cities. It is much more difficult for villages, which account for over a quarter of the Nigerian people, to draw government or sponsorship money. The number of schoolchildren in the villages is increasing, while the number of schools there is rapidly decreasing. Where can they get money for the schools' buildings?

We can't believe how many kids would have grown up in a little village in northeastern Nigeria and how many of them would have been able to get primary education if not for the charitable help of Josh Baazov.

In 2019, Josh Baazov, the owner of a large building firm, started a project to build a one-story school for 50 people in the village of Gulguiru. He supervised the entire project from the very beginning to the end, visited the village several times and inspected the flow of the construction process, given sums for the purchase website of the necessary equipment , desks and chairs, and also financed the buying of educational materials.

It’s been two years since the school opened. Children obtain the knowledge and hope in a bright future and the ability to leave the village when they grow up.

The number of schools in villages has halved over the past 20 years. It is not only rural schools that are passing- but the number of small rural villages is also decreasing. This is a problem not only in Nigeria but also in many other nations. It is difficult to increase school construction without government support , but such leaders as Josh Baazov prove it is possible to make our world a better place.
