What are essential oils?

Let\'s break the word down, shall we? First, the “essential” part is a little misleading. While some users find essential oil as a very important part of their routine, the term refers not to the value of the product, but to the taking of plant’s “essence” by condensing, well, quite a lot of said plant.

\"However, we all know that essential oils are extracted from plants to retain their aroma and flavor, as well as all of their useful properties.\" Each essential oil has unique ingredients that give it a characteristic essence.

And while they may feel oily when touched, essential oils are not exactly an oil, as their composition differs greatly from animal and vegetable oils. In other words, instead of being made up mainly of fatty acids, the composition of essential oil cells depends on the plant from which it originated - usually by the incorporation of soft drinks or by a mechanical process known as cold pressing, explains Pierre. The extracted materials are too strong to be used alone, so they are then mixed with the carrier oil before being injected into the body or used in oil diffusers.

How to use essential oils:

To learn more about your use of essential oils, you need to understand a few things right from the start. Usually, oils are used in one of three ways. This essential oil-using list will help you become a pro faster!
