Introduction: GSA Schedule Contracts or GSA Contract is also termed as GSA Schedules or Federal Supply Schedules. These schedules include indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ), long-term contracts under the General Services Administration’s Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Program. The Contract is responsible to support federal employees in purchasing of products and services. They contain pre-negotiated prices, delivery terms, warranties, and other terms and conditions which streamline the buying process. Let’s discuss the GSA Contract application –

GSA Contract holders can extend their business into a completely new world filled with opportunities. The opportunity does not end up only becoming the primary contracting body of federal agencies; rather it can also give a boost to government buyers’ sales. A major group of agencies in the government marketplace want to pursue businesses with GSA contracts. The agencies are aware of the products price, as the prices are reasonable compare to others. To prepare for getting GSA Schedule Contract here the process/requirements have been discussed –

  • 200 pages or more, documentation of GSA Schedule solicitation.
  • The applicant should have knowledge of government contract regulations (also known as Federal Acquisition Regulations or FAR)
  • Experience people require, who can properly disclose commercial sales & practices, discount practices to avoid fines, claims and disbarment later.
  • GSA negotiation is a big factor here. Therefore, you need to have in extensive experience, that you can don\\\'t end up giving away the store.
  • You have to be experienced enough with federal marketing. Otherwise, you may find difficulty to establish pricing and positioning properly in your contract.

Eligibility of application –

  • Respective business should be in market for at least 2 Years (only exception for IT solutions)
  • Document must show a Healthy Financials
  • Products or Services that can be Fit Under a GSA Schedule Category
  • TAA Complianceif Offering Products (TAA is an acronym for the United States Trade Agreements Act (TAA) of 1979)
  • Past Performance if Offering Services
