Dating should be about two people talking and forming a meaningful connection.

Mission

Nexum’s mission is to enable users to create connections without being hindered by any biases and assumptions based on physical features. We want to foster positive dating through chat and conversation

How It Works

We help do this through a three step connection process, designed to foster conversation and connection

1? - Create your profile!

Nexum starts a user out by helping create a profile that includes at least one, but no more than three photos, along with filters to maximize the type of people they want to see and from where! Nexum is one of the few dating platforms without a \"bio\" section, we want people to learn about one another through chatting instead of a \"bio.\"

 2? - Start a Speed Date!

Next up is hopping right in and starting a speed date. Starting a speed date connects the user with three people in a one by one fashion, where the user can chat with a single person for three minutes at a time. After the three minutes is up, the user can declare whether or not they want to connect! If you thought the chat went well and the  feeling is mutual you\'ll be able to connect and that person will populate in your inbox so you can continue to chat

 3 - Chat & Connect

Now that you know the basics of Nexum, you can now embark on speed dates, meet new people, chat and form connections! Dating as it should be!

Funding

We\'ve poured a lot of love and personal investment into Nexum, however in order to launch successfully, we intend to raise additional funding for marketing and promotion plans. It\'s going to be a challenge to give insert ourselves in the mobile dating landscape! A successful Kickstarter campaign will allow us to gain early users and traction, which will allow us to enhance Nexum and launch as successfully as possible!

Risks and challenges

Nexum recognizes that we are entering a vast market place. However - each of the existing dating apps utilize similar algorithms and don’t solve dating for most people: a swipe minded and ELO rating based dating app cannot foster connection for everyone. Nexum offers something different. We position our users to chat and form meaningful connections!
