Types of Commercial Industrial Lighting

Commercial industrial lighting generates a characteristic ochre-yellow radiation spectrum. Because of this, the color rendering is noticeably distorted. However, thanks to this effect, it is interesting to beat the architectural features of the house or the adjacent territory. In general, if you do not have special requirements for color rendering, such spotlights will be a good solution, since they transform the lion's share of the energy consumed into the light. In addition, they are "long-livers" - they can withstand up to 30,000 hours of glow without significant loss of quality.

Another extremely important criterion for the selection of a Commercial Industrial Lighting is the degree of its tightness. Often, a special marking is applied directly to the device itself – IP with two digits. The higher they are, the more protected (from the effects of aggressive environments) the device is. The first digit characterizes the degree of protection from the penetration of dust particles under the housing, and the second – from the ingress of water (condensate).

In such models, all joints are sealed with protective gaskets and sealants. Just pay attention to the material and dimensions of the back of the lamp. It is responsible for heat dissipation and must be sufficiently voluminous to effectively cool the hermetically sealed housing. It is best to choose devices with a thin metal back panel, it provides accelerated heat exchange. For outdoor lighting systems, additional vandal-proof protection is also provided, reducing the risk of mechanical damage, vibration, etc. Often, the housing of street lamps is made of thicker metal, shockproof glass and metal grilles are used to protect the luminous element, and connecting cables are placed in an additional layer of extra strong insulation.
It is clear that such a device is more expensive, but for public areas, it is initially better to choose models with a high margin of safety. To illuminate areas rarely visited at night (for example, remote areas of the garden, or cottages), it is best to choose a spotlight with a built-in motion sensor. Of course, such a device will cost an order of magnitude more expensive, but it will provide noticeable savings since the Led Parking Lot Lights will light up only when someone passes near the coverage area.

Depending on the design and power, the sensor blocks are located either in the lamp housing or outside. Alternatively, you can simply buy a separate sensor and connect several lamps to it at once so that they light up simultaneously from several sides. We only draw your attention to the fact that not all models of floodlights are compatible with sensors. In addition, it is necessary to choose a sensor model that will work with a certain type of lamps used in the spotlight. For example, the sensor for incandescent lamps is not suitable for LED lamps and vice versa. Due to the extremely low energy consumption, LED floodlights to open up new opportunities for using free solar energy to illuminate a cottage or house territory.
