Welding Head Manipulators are also known as Welding Column and Boom. One end of the Boom houses the welding head. The wire spool can be attached to the Boom's front or back end. Vertical movement is accomplished with a Lead Screw in Extra Light Duty and Light Duty models. Vertical movement is accomplished by Rack & Pinion with counterweight arrangement for Medium & Heavy Duty Boom.

The welding head is attached to one of the Boom's ends. The wire spool can be attached to the Boom's front or back end. The vertical movement in Extra Light Duty and Light Duty Models (i.e. up to 3 meters X 3 meters) is accomplished via a Lead Screw. The vertical movement of the Medium & Heavy Duty Boom is accomplished using a Rack & Pinion system with a counterweight configuration. Metallic wire rope is used to secure the Counterweight and Boom assembly. Anti-fall security is a standard feature in all models, including those that are driven by a lead screw.
