Restore Your Lost Data Using QuickBooks ADR File Sets

Posted by Kent Avraham on June 7th, 2016

In 2010 Intuit a Silicon Valley company began implementing a unique feature of Auto Data Recovery (ADR), a feature intended to allow recovery of your damaged QuickBooks files. This feature was first offered in the Pro/Premier version of QuickBooks and then later it was added to Enterprise in 2012.  The feature makes use of two distinct technologies, ‘auto replication’ which helps you in creating a duplicate copy of your QuickBooks Company (.QBW) file and the QuickBooks Transaction Log (.QBW.tlg) file, and ‘auto recovery.

While using the below-mentioned ways if you confront any type of issue then contacting a reliable technical online support for QuickBooks data recoveryis the right option to resolve your data recovery issue.

Intuit company has designed this Auto Data Recovery feature to help and recover your QuickBooks data in one of two ways:

  1. Recreate the last few hours of transactions  of QuickBooks Company (.QBW) file, and of the QuickBooks Transaction Log (.QBW.tlg) file and
  2. Recreate the lost transactions using the current QuickBooks Transaction Log (.QBW.tlg) file & a previous copy of the QuickBooks Company (.QBW) file.

This QuickBooks auto data recovery ADR feature uses an auto replication function to create copies of the QuickBooks Company file and QuickBooks Transaction log files at expected intervals.  These generated copies are stored in a special directory within the same Windows folder where your Company (.QBW) file is stored. http://quickbookshelpsupport.com/

While the below- mentioned steps seem simple, they should be performed only by capable personnel.  Intuit intended that these steps should be performed by QuickBooks ProAdvisors and/or Intuit support staff; directions are not given for these procedures except in the form of technical support documents obtainable to such qualified individuals.  This piece of writing is intended to assure that such personnel is attentive of this important QuickBooks feature for data recovery and restoration.
