Bus duct installation skills

1. For horizontal installation of busbar machine, the distance between two supports is ≯ 2500 ㎜, and the vertical installation distance is ≯ 3600 ㎜;

2. When the mounting bracket is installed vertically, it should be drilled with the channel side plate and fastened with M6-M8 bolts.

3. In the process of installation and construction, the construction scheme from power supply system, busbar bending machine line to branch trunk line shall be given priority;

4. The basic sequence of enclosed bus duct installation: select the wiring direction → fix the bracket → fix the slot hole with four bolts → add the bus bar machine connecting plate and insulating pad between phases → insert the single head bolt into the insulating sleeve → insert the bolt into the bus preset hole → fasten both ends → install the upper and lower half cover plates → fix the channel on the bracket.

5. When installing the channel bus, the starting, middle, end and channel shell shall be reliably connected to the grounding grid of the electrical equipment. The channel enclosure coated with insulating material shall be connected with flat copper tape or yellow green cable on the grounding bolt between the two channels to ensure that the entire channel is connected to form a grounding system.

6. After the installation work is completed and before power transmission, use a vibrometer to test the insulation resistance of the inter phase and ground insulation of the channel bus: ① The insulation resistance of the low-voltage bus channel is not less than 20M Ω; ② The insulation resistance of 6~10KV high-voltage bus channel shall not be less than 1200M Ω. 35KV insulation resistance shall not be less than 3000M Ω.

7. Before power transmission, the 6~35KV bus channel shall undergo 50HZ power frequency withstand voltage test and DC leakage test, and can be put into operation only after passing the test;

8. When the bus duct is put into operation, tighten the bus joint bolts within 3 months and check the contact condition of the bus joint;

9. Check the following items of bus duct in operation at least once a year:

1) Tighten the fixing bolts, especially the bus joints, and observe whether the joints are burnt due to poor contact or overcurrent, and deal with them;

2) Shake the ammeter to test the insulation degree and check whether the insulation materials are aging;

3) Connection between bus channel and grounding grid;

4) Pay attention to the internal and external absorption of dust and condensate;
