A Course in Miracles teaches that our true nature is perfect love, and that our fear-based belief system is a lie. This makes it a very different teaching from most religious texts, as it focuses on spiritual healing rather than physical salvation or eternal life. Although it uses Christian terminology, the Course is ecumenical and states that “a universal theology is impossible but a universal experience is not only possible but necessary.” It is a restatement of the core wisdom of every major world religion.
