There are 3 different types of LED which are the 3mm LEDs, the 5mm LEDs and the high power LEDs which the LED light manufacturers offer at the moment. The 3mm LEDs are the smallest in the LED family but still are used in a wide variety of places. They emit the least intensity of light amongst the others and are smaller in size which can be seen in small light projectors. Back in the days when LEDs were coming up the 5mm LEDs were used only for specific purpose but with LED lights coming into the lime light the 5mm's have found their place in our daily lives. They are readily available and can be bought from almost any departmental store.
