PLIA Designs World of Designer Bags

With the amount of designer handbags available, it can be confusing when you want to buy a new handbag. I shop only once a year for new handbags and sometimes not even then. I’ve gone several years without buying a new bag because I am so happy with the handbags I already own. But I know many of you aren’t happy with the handbags you own and you aren’t sure if you make the correct decisions when buying new ones. There are numerous websites and blogs dedicated to buying handbags, but most them are motivated by advertising money. They promote handbags sold on their advertisers’ websites. So it’s not exactly a fair way to help consumers make handbag purchases.

This is one reason I like to help my friends and colleagues wanting new handbags. They come to me for my honest opinion. I will often go to their homes and see inside their closets. I like to get an idea of what they already own and what sort of designer handbags they would like to buy and why. What do they want from a handbag? Will they use it for work? Travel? Do they want it big enough to fit a laptop inside? Is quality and craftsmanship a big deal to them? I take everything into consideration before I give them my opinion. I also take a look at all of their clothing and let them tell me what their favorite outfits are and what handbag they usually carry with it. Also I like to see if they own any smaller handbags such as clutches, etc.

I’ve even been known to photograph their wardrobes and handbags they already own. From there it takes me several days to let them know my unfiltered thoughts about what new designer handbags they should buy.
