His grandmother, on his fathers side Kanta Lakhumal Jamnadas Hiranandani passed away in 2014. He has an uncle named Surendra Hiranandani who co-founded the Hiranandani Group and another uncle, Navin Hiranandani was a known ear, nose and throat surgeon in Mumbai.
