Tuxedo is never out of fashion. Since late nineteenth century, whether white or black, men have been dressing in a tux to look gentleman and classy. To be honest, nobody can look bad properly knit well fitted tuxedo.

Several variations of the conventional tuxedo have been derived and designed by the fashion designers to make the outfit more popular and salable over the years. But if you really want to look worth million dollars nothing can match the eye catching style of the sassy classic look.

Wearing the classic look is not like wearing any other suit from the wardrobe. You need to cater to every small detail to derive the perfect detail. Keep these very essential points in mind when you are suiting up in a classic look tuxedo.

Occasion
You can’t wear your tux anywhere at any time like any normal outfit. Tuxedo is an extremely formal dress and should be avoided wearing in the day time unless and until you have a wedding to attend. Appropriate time is wear after the sun set in a perfectly formal setting.

Always Wear Black Tie
No matter if there is any tie code or not and who says what. A black tie is a thumb rule with tuxedo. Go with black because it is never wrong.

Jacket And Trousers
Within the classic look, you still have many choices to choose from for jacket and trousers. You can never go wrong with white tux with black trim. You can also choose classic notch lapel or single breasted jacket. While midnight blue and black are the most popular colors to wear.

Bow Tie
While you may be inspired to wear a long tie or no tie with tuxedo like your favorite celebrity, but the best ties to wear with tuxedo is bow tie. Period.

Wear Vest or Cummerbund
If you are not wearing a double breast jacket which you are not going to keep buttoned all the time it is always advisable to wear a vest or cummerbund to avoid your shirt from getting exposed. Having said that, not tuxedo is complete without a cummerbund or vest.

Right Shirt
You can choose between point or wing collared shirt. Wing collar shirt exposes the string of bow tow going behind and looks more contemporary.

Oxford Shoes
Lastly, wear well polished pair of Oxford shoes or any other shoes with round-tip. Avoid square toed or long tip shoes and shoes with very elaborate stitching.
