Direct Flights to Pakistan: Get the Most Suitable Way of Flying

Posted by Imran Ali Shah on January 19th, 2017

Succumbing to the temptations of cheap flight tickets to Pakistan may sometimes result in travellers getting stranded on locations that are poorly connected.  There are basically three ways of flying to a destination – nonstop, connecting and direct. If a flier wishes to reach Pakistan in the quickest possible time with the cheapest fares, then direct flights are definitely the answer. While a nonstop flight may be the fastest way to travel, it also happens to be the most expensive. Connecting flights maybe the most inexpensive way to get to Pakistan, but they consume the most time and energy to get to destinations.  Let us take a tour of three reasons why a direct flight is the answer.

Prevents the need to disembark and embark multiple times

A direct flight does stopover at one or a couple of locations en-route to its destination. However, these stopovers do not require the manifested passengers to disembark and embark in multiple locations.  This saves a lot of time and effort.

Connecting flights may require passengers to change terminals

A connecting flight while being a cheaper option, may sometimes require passengers to change terminals. Depending on the location, connecting flights may originate from different terminals. This places a burden on passengers who will have to change terminals.

Not having to contend with unexpected delays

It is an accepted fact that having to change flights increases the probability of encountering unexpected delays. A direct flight would definitely lessen the chances of getting stuck in air traffic control delays or a sudden turn of weather.

Reasonably priced for a quick flight to Pakistan

While a direct flight would take a slightly longer time to fly to its destination than a non-stop flight, they are definitely a cheaper option to fly. The actual flying time will continue to remain more or less the same, except for the time taken for the stopover, takeoff, landing etc.

Flying from the United Kingdom to Pakistan calls for choosing and striking the right balance between cost and time. Being a long haul destination, it definitely calls for precluding connecting flights as the layovers and connecting flights may not be suitable for all categories of fliers. In the same vein, the transcontinental flight may turn out to be more expensive if a non-stop flight were to be chosen.  The right balance would be to opt for a direct flight, choosing from one of many reasonable options that reputed travel agencies offer.
