When people travel overseas, they oftentimes enjoy planning trips that take them between two different cities or possibly countries. This allows people to see more of the world without having to make multiple trips overseas.

A trip from Barcelona to London will obviously begin in the city of Barcelona, Spain. Barcelona is a city that is rich in culture and the people there take pride in their heritage. One of the best ways for people to see quite a bit of Barcelona is by just walking around the city. While this may seem strange, because it would seem to take a lot longer this way, people are often amazed at what they have missed when they took the same routes by bus.

Since Barcelona is filled with culture, it should come as no surprise that every visitor should see a performance at either the Gran Teatre del Liceu or the L’Auditori. Anyone who is more into art than music will want to walk the path that includes the neighborhood where Picasso was when he lived in the city. At the end is the Picasso Museum where Picasso’s earlier works are displayed.

Once a person’s time in Barcelona is complete, they will then make the journey to London. Visitors should not let the cool and rainy weather stop them from enjoying their time in this city. Inside the city, there are quite a few parks that visitors can wander through as they enjoy the serenity and quiet that is offered.

Everyone will want to see as much of London as they can and there is no better view than from the top of London’s Eye. The London Eye takes people 135 meters above the ground where they can see the Thames River, Central London, and even Buckingham Palace. Anyone who wants to see the city from higher up will want to consider going up to the View from the Shard, which is the tallest building in Western Europe. Guests will be able to look out from where they stand 244 meters above the ground.

Big Ben is the nickname for the bell inside the clock tower that stands North of the Palace of Westminster. The clock was completed in 1859 and is considered a cultural icon of the country. Big Ben is part of one of the many popular tourist attractions that also includes Westminster Abbey, the Tower of London, and the British Museum.

A vacation that goes from Barcelona to London will be an adventure for anybody, especially those people who love visiting different countries. The experiences that people will have in each city will be different and that just adds to the excitement of the journey.
