Subway is a world famous franchise known for its huge chain of restaurants. Subway has its branches in more than 80 countries till date with more than 29,000 branches. The founder of subway is Fred DeLuca. The subway line of restaurants was started way back in the year 1965. It mainly specialized in selling sandwiches. Mr. Fred DeLuca was only 17 years old when he started subway by investing only 1,000 which he got as loan from Mr. Peter Buck who was his partner as well as a family friend. When it was first started it didn't have the name "Subway", instead it was named Pete's super submarines. Then 9 years later the name was changed to subway. Subway has an attractive tagline as "Eat Fresh". If you want to newly open a subway franchise in the US it will may estimated anywhere between $100000 and $290000.

This amount will include the entire investment of setting up a new subway branch and will include the operating expense of the first three months. The subway logo is quite famous among people around the world. As soon as we look at the logo we immediately think of delicious food. In the logo "Subway", the first letter S and the last letter Y is finished with an arrow. These arrows represent the enter and exit ways of a subway. The letter S represent the entrance the letter Y represent the exit. Sub is white in color and way is yellow in color. It does not consist of many calories and has only less percentage of Trans fatty acids unlike foods offered by other competitors. They offer only fresh food which is rich in nutrients. But for such a big company with huge reputation it has a simple yet very appealing logo.
