192.168.0.1 is an IP address, familiar to every router-user, who is setting up LAN-network or monitoring connection of the device. Through this address administrators can enter the router setting page. Such broadband routers as Netgear or D-Link use it as the default, configured by the manufacturer. But the user can always change it, whenever he needs

Via this IP address it’s possible to customize the default gateway. To reach an administrative console you have to paste link http://192.168.0.1 into your web-browser. This act is from the system administrator’s arsenal, but any user of the above-mentioned devices can do it yourself.

Located at the gateway, where two networks join together, these broadband routers are known to be compulsory features of a home network. If you have such a device, you must have this component. The main aim of these routers is to provide data transmission between two networks, connecting them to the Internet. Devices of some brands have this IP as a default.

Private IP addresses, belonging to the same network, work unparalleled. It’s their main feature. Any computer or laptop can use it within the local network without a problem. Unlike other private IP addresses, 192.168.0.1 can provoke a conflict, if it’s assigned to two different devices within one network at the same time. This IP address must be assigned only to one customer.
