Getting married on a ship is a dream come alive for many couples. With the increase in the number of cruise liners it has become possible to organize a dream cruise wedding in the ocean blue waters. The features of the package are not just limited to the vessel; you can even take your party to a distant Caribbean island and leave them awed by the beauty of a secluded Wedding Dresses altar. A cruise wedding can be a costly affair and therefore we will walk you through the ceremonial arrangements.

1. Seasonal surcharge- the increased demand of sea weddings has compelled the popular cruise companies to implement additional charges during the peak wedding months and major holidays. Therefore it would be in your best interest to let these crowded seasons pass. Choose a suitable date that will take this additional burden off your pocket.

2. Wedding vows- if you want the ship captain to be your minister you will have to double check about its legal registration. It is to be noted that not all the cruise liners have their captains registered with the local bodies. Therefore make sure to check this with your cruise company.

3. Island wedding restriction- a lot of cruise liners have already obtained requisite permissions for vow renewals on secluded islands but it is better to confirm, otherwise you will have to take the wedding vows before the ship leaves the port which is exactly the kind of thing you would not like to happen after spending all this money.

4. Post wedding celebrations- planning the post wedding celebrations immediately after your destined sea wedding is not a good idea. Always remember that a lot can go wrong with a cruise wedding and so it is always better to leave a window of a few days in case you are required to reschedule.
