PoE Bestiary Beast Encounters Are Far Too Scarce

In Path of Exile, some collectors of path of exile orbs said that they rarely run into red beasts and the yellow ones usually die before they can even throw their net. Many players love catching beasts but these encounters are just far too scarce. It feels like Harbinger all over again.

The fun recipes are gated behind red beasts that seem to be fairly random as to which variation you will actually be able to encounter in a given zone. The yellow beasts seem to be more consistent and can be somewhat target farmed (such as the 5x new prophecy recipe which can be farmed in tidal island act 6) but their recipes are quite limited and it's usually just crafting a rare with a guaranteed mod that probably rolls crappy anyways.

I also don't really understand why normal and magic monsters can even be captured at all. Pretty much all of the non-leveling recipe require rare or unique beasts of a certain type. All the normal ones do is make it harder to net the rares (although they have said they are fixing this so it auto-targets the best one).

One player imagine this is mostly because it'd be impossible to fill out your Pokedex without them. Hard to catch 40 variations of rhoa if you need to see each one as a rare. It'd be nice, then, if three white mobs were upgrade to a blue, and three blue mobs were upgraded to a rare with a random Bestiary affix on it. That way there could at least be some utility to them.

Another player said that they probably shouldn't exist - just require rares or special beasts and it would reduce the capture-able clutter. We're limited by the number of beasts we can have by type, so he never try to capture white or blue mobs because he assume they'll get evicted or not even have a slot to fit in.

That being said, I believe that GGG will of course keep working to improve every aspect of the league they can, if you don't want to be left behind in the game just because of lack of orbs, please buy exalted orbs on U4GM.
