How to Know SRMJEEE 2018 Important Dates

SRMJEEE is SRM Joint Entrance Examination for Engineering, which gets organized every year on State level by SRM University, also known as SRM Institute of Science and Technology. The examination enrols candidates for admissions in engineering programs (B.Tech/B.E.) in its 3 different campuses, Chennai, Kattankulathar, Ramapuram, Vadapalani; Ghaziabad and Sonepat. SRM University also provided admissions in Health Science departments.

The SRMJEEE 2018 examination allows a candidate to appear in the exam a second time, if he or she doesn’t gets satisfied with the first attempt. A maximum of only 2 attempts are allowed once in a year. The University also provided several kinds of scholarships to its students who are enrolled in the examination with good scores in their board’s examination and excellent performances in Sport departments.

The entrance examination is conducted around 16^th to 30^th April. The notification for the examination has been already released. The University has assigned a minimum of 60% marks in class 12^th exam containing PCM or PCB for admissions in Kattankulathar campus, whereas a minimum of 50% marks have been assigned for PCB and PCM in 12^th for Ramapuram, Vadapalani, Ghaziabad and Sonepat campuses.

Around 15 branches are available for candidates for admissions in Engineering departments, which are- B.Tech/B.E in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Genetic Engineering, Software Engineering, along with Bio-medical, Bio-Technology, Electronics and Communication, Mechatronics, Computer Science and Technology, and Information Technology.

SRMJEEE 2018 Exam pattern:

SRMJEEE 2018 will be a Computer-Based examination as Online mode, in which the questions will be objective type and available only in English mode.

 Preparation Tips-

Candidates must be familiar with the entire procedure of the examination, for how the contents have to be wrapped up effectively for cracking the examination and seeking a seat in the University. Being an objective type exam, the candidates must prepare notes which are precise and adhering with the topic and clarifying the content. A good conceptual understanding and knowledge of each topic is mandatory. Each topic under Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology (any from both) should be correctly rectified and the weaker sections required paying more attention. Follow some basic requirements-

1. Mathematics requires more practicing and find more questions from sample papers and mock test
2. Try to solve mock test of entire syllabus in the same time duration as of the JEE examination
3.  Try to take up ideas from previous years question papers.
