PMP or Project Management Professional is for people wanting to be a certified project manager. However, to attain this, one would require taking up an exam which has five different domains. This part consists of 24% multiple choice questions in the exam.

Executing

This is the process where one would need to execute the work by managing various departments. To perform well in this segment, a person would require continuously improving the previous processes, use management techniques, have knowledge about handling vendors, etc.

This is the most important part and holds 31% of MCQ in the exam.

Monitoring and Handling

Measuring performance and controlling all the issues which might arise from an ongoing project is what people learn from this portion of the syllabus. Some other vital information people come across here are tracking techniques, best practices which are helpful for development of the project, risk identification and quality verification techniques. It comprises 25% questionnaire on the examination. 

Project Closing

Last but not the least is closing a project. Here, one learns about the project’s final acceptance by transferring deliverables’ ownership to stakeholders. Also, obtain feedback on the work and using adequate techniques and evaluate client’s satisfaction. In this process, one learns about proper close out procedures. This holds 7% of questions in the examination.
