The ISO 9001: 2015 International Standard is related to the quality management system. This standard has given the expectations of the quality management system. This standard has been published by the 'International Organization for Standardization'.

After getting the ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System standard certification, organizations will have many direct advantages in their future day to day work. That is why many organizations in the world wanted to receive this certification. Here in this article, we will briefly discuss 4 reasons, why organizations, it may be large or small should implement the ISO 9001: 2015 quality management system.

The first reason is that the ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System standard for the quality management system, is generally for all institutions like industries, services, government, non-government, and it is accepted almost all over the world. This means that taking the ISO 9001: 2015 quality management system certification assures the other parties usually dealers, importers, and customers, that the institution has achieved the quality management standards.

The second reason is that many big buyers, multinational producers, large chains of distributors and government and non-governmental agencies/departments have begun to emphasize that their distributors must have certification of the ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System standard, After that only they would like to trade with them. Individual inspections will remain equally important as they are now, but by taking an ISO 9001: 2015 certification from a third independent party i.e. a certification institution, its foundation strengthens.

Thirdly, it is becoming a recognition that in the industries where product certification has become a common practice, the regulatory agency has started seeing whether the institution has taken the ISO 9001: 2015 quality management system certification before the product certification, or not.

Fourthly, a major aspect of legislation in many countries is that institutions can show that they have taken all necessary steps to ensure the safety of their products. The evidence based on the ISO 9001: 2015 quality management system standard can be assumed that the organization has taken adequate precautions in preparing and delivering its products. In the unpleasant situation of failure of quality of a particular product, this can be useful for the institution at the time of legal action.

In short, it can be said that the institution which is eager to trade outside the home country, it will be necessary to take the ISO 9001 quality management system certification
