Generic Latisse and few facts

Posted by Generic Wellnwess on June 26th, 2018

Generic Latisse is a trade name for the compound called Bimatoprost 0.03% which is chemically a prostaglandin analogue. Prostaglandins, as a matter of fact, exist naturally in our body as part of the inflammatory cascade and Bimatoprost increases the action of these mediators. The same drug was initially used as a topical ophthalmic drop for treating glaucoma in human eye.  But as a side effect, the eye serum was responsible for growing long, thick and dark eyelashes, which was incidentally a sweet surprise for both patients and the eye experts who recommended them. Latisse took birth after the secondary effect was tested and confirmed for safety, the original eye serum was redesigned for the specific purpose of treating Hypotrichosis – a condition of weak and scanty growth in eyelash hair.

Generic Latisse is generally applied during night time so it is common to wake up in the morning with red and itchy eyes. Latisse is meant for external use only. It has to be applied along the roots of upper lashes like the way you use an eye-liner. Use it sparingly by taking a tiny drop over the head of the applicator provided with the drug.  Use one applicator for one eyelid. If the drug drains in to your inner eye while you are asleep then you can get red and itchy eyes in the morning. Secondly the drug has the property of growing hair on any part of facial skin it comes in contact. So make sure not to smudge the eye serum around on eyelid skin or any part of facial skin. Keep a cotton swab or tissue paper handy to wipe off the smudged drug immediately. You can visit the site of Generic Wellness and order your stock of Latisse online.

Generic Latisse can even grow hair in patients (eyelashes) with cancer who have to undergo hair shedding chemotherapy. With 16 weeks of regular therapy you grow gorgeous looking eyelashes that can fetch you crazy attention from your peers and colleagues! Continue with the eye serum at least three days in a week to maintain the newly acquired lusciousness of your eyelashes.

Another fact about Generic Latisse is its property of pigmentation of eyelid skin and in rare cases iris as well. It has the property of increasing the expression of your body’s melanin (pigment). It gives a feeling of having used an eye-liner as the skin along the upper eyelash turns darker. Pigmentation of iris, as I mentioned earlier, is rare and happens in women with light brown, hazel or green eyes. Blue eyes are not affected as they do not have melanin. This transformation cannot be reversed and stays permanently with your eyes. So you need to count this risk factor before applying Generic Latisse to your eyelashes.

Also keep your contacts aside before applying Careprost or Bimat to your eyelashes. The eye serum can permanently discolour and damage your lens. Wear them back 15 to 20 minutes after having applied Generic Latisse to your eyelashes.
