IIFT 2019 syllabus And Exam Pattern Highlights

IIFT 2019 syllabus - Indian Institute for foreign trade is an entrance examination conducted by IIFT 2019. It offers admissions in the management program in various campuses across Delhi and Kolkata. IIFT has released exam pattern and syllabus for the examination. The entrance examination is expected to be conducted in the first week of December. But before the entrance examination aspirants planning to take IIFT this year must know the Exam pattern and syllabus .familiarity with the syllabus and examination pattern will help the candidates to prepare and study strategically. As per the last year’s trends, IIFT was conducted in the good old pen- paper-based test. The entrance examination was conducted in 20 cities throughout the country. The duration of the examination will be 2 hours.    

IIFT 2019 Syllabus pattern

Candidates who are willing to take IIFT this year must know the IIFT syllabus and exam pattern. With knowing both the things they will plan and study accordingly. Exam pattern and IIFT are likely to remain same. There might be the change in no of questions in each section.

1. Logical Reasoning –it covers topics like directions, coding, and decoding, input, output, comparisons, deductions etc.
2. Data interpretation – it comprises bar graph, pie chart, line graph etc.
3. Verbal ability - All the basic grammar topics are covered in this section. Like, fill the phrases, antonyms, and synonyms, analog etc.
4. Reading comprehension - In this candidates have to fill in the blanks and there will be unseen passage and related questions.
5. Quantitative ability – this section will cover the basic mathematical concepts like geometry, trigonometry, mensuration and permutation and combination.
6. General awareness - This section is scoring section, candidates must aware about the current affairs, there will be topics related to history, sports, banking, economics, banking etc.

IIFT 2019 Exam Pattern Highlights 

It is mandatory for the candidates who are appearing for the entrance examination they must be familiar with the IIFT 2019.

IIFT 2019 Exam Pattern

IIFT 2019 Marking Scheme

Every candidate must aware of the IIFT 2019 exam pattern. it is important for the candidates to score good and get a college through IIFT. The knowledge of examination pattern is necessary for the candidates. There will be negative marking as well in the entrance examination.

1. Data interpretation - The total no of questions are 20 .0.75 marks will be awarded on every correct answer and there will be the deduction of 0.33 for every incorrect response. The total to offer is 15.
2. Logical reasoning – The total no of questions will be 20 and total marks to offer is also 20.1 marks will be awarded on every correct response and 0.25 will be deducted for every incorrect response.
3. General awareness – The total no of questions will be 18. Maximum marks to offer is 9.0.5 marks will be awarded to each correct response and 0.17 will be deducted for every incorrect response.
4. Verbal ability- 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer. The total no of questions are 20 as well total marks.0.33 marks will be deducted for every incorrect response.
5. Reading comprehension- The total no of questions are 16 as well as 16. 1 mark will be awarded for correct one and 0.33 will be deducted for every incorrect response
6. Quantitative ability- 1 mark will be awarded for each correct response and 0.33 will be deducted for every incorrect response.

The total no of questions will 20 and the total marks to offer is same as the total questions.

Conclusion – IIFT 2019 cutoff is national level entrance examination offering seats in MBA (International business). Numbers are increasing every year and there are limited seats to offer.
