Artificial insemination is the alternative to natural insemination in the case of occurrence a problem in one of the spouses to treat infertility. Artificial insemination is the separation of healthy sperm from distorted or slow sperm. It treats sperm to enter it into the uterus when the ovum is completed. The problem may be present in the uterus. When the sperm enters and reach the fallopian tube until the ovum is fertilized, the uterus secretes a liquid that protects the sperm. However, if the fluid is very sticky or if there is any problem in the cervix, the ovum is not inseminated. There may be another problem in the uterus is the sensitivity of the sperm, specifically the sensitivity from the protein that present in it. This sensitivity prevents pregnancy. When the artificial insemination is done, protein is removed by the doctor so the pregnancy is done.

There are many people who are unaware of the cause of infertility and the absence of pregnancy, although the all tests that required is done. So they use the industrial insemination and use an invigorator ovum. There may be problems with ejaculation, sexual intercourse, erectile dysfunction, and there are many other conditions that may prevent pregnancy. Therefore, the doctor uses artificial insemination after performing the necessary tests and working on monitoring the ovulation and body temperature, and then preparing a sample of sperm in a special room when abstaining intercourse for five to four days. Sperm is treated in the laboratory by washing it and remove impurities from it.

The doctor performs the injection of the microscopy in the cervix. This is a simple process that does not take much time. The woman remains lying on her back. The pregnancy test is done two weeks after the vaccination. If the pregnancy is not happened, the artificial insemination is repeated from three months to six months.

The rate of success of artificial insemination

The rate of success of artificial insemination is 10 to 20%. The success rate depends largely on the age of the wife, the health status of the cervix and ovum, and also depends on semen, sperm count and safety. Artificial insemination rarely causes problems in the uterus; it is produced from a seminal sample, or through the instruments of the pollination process. Care must therefore be taken to sterilize the instruments thoroughly from bacteria.
