What are the blessings of Hajj? One can describe them in great detail. However, in the Qur'an, where God instructs Abraham to invite people for Hajj, it is said:

To witness useful things for them...

Thus, the true blessings of the pilgrimage can only be experienced by those who are already performing it. Imam Abu Hanifa was reportedly not sure that worship was more excellent than among the various ones developed by Islam. But once he performed Hajj, he did not hesitate to say that the Hajj was the best.

The journey

Usually we think of trips on two types: those made for business and made for fun. Either way, it is to fulfill your mundane desires and take advantage of ourselves that you have left your homes, separate from families, spending money, everything done for your own benefit. No question arises to sacrifice for any higher purpose, sublime.

But the journey that is the pilgrimage is completely different in nature. This does not mean any personal end. It is only for God and to fulfill the duty prescribed by God. No one can prepare for this journey unless he loves God in his heart, as well as fear him, and is convinced that God wants him to do what he does. You are willing to endure the incentives of separation from your family, and to incur considerable expenses in a journey that will not bring any material rewards, and suffer any loss of work or work, all signs of certain inner qualities: that you love and fear God more than anything else, You have a strong sense of duty towards him, that you are ready to answer his call and willing to sacrifice your physical comfort in his case.

Virtue and piety

The closer you get to the house of God, the more you will want to do a good job.

You will find that your love for God escalates when you begin to prepare for a pilgrimage with the sole purpose of pleasing God. With your heart longing to reach your goal, you become purest in thought and action. You repent of your previous sins, ask forgiveness from the people who may have offended them, and try to make you worthy of others if necessary so as not to go to the court of God burdened with grievances that you may have done with the beings of your colleagues. In general, it increases the tendency to do well and encourages the doing of evil.

After you leave the house, the closer you get to the house of God, the more you desire to do a good job. Be careful not to hit anyone while trying to provide any service or help others can. Avoid abuse, indecency, dishonesty, differences, and bickering because you are walking on God's path. Thus an entire journey constitutes an act of worship. How, then, can you do the wrong? This journey, in contrast to each other, is a continuous path through which the Muslim receives an evolutionary purification of himself. On this journey, then, you are pilgrims to God.

The impact of Hajj

The great blessings of spiritual and moral renewal, imparted by the pilgrimage to every person, before you. But you cannot fully appreciate the blessings of Hajj unless you realize the fact that Muslims do not perform it individually: hundreds of thousands perform it collectively during the time allotted. In a stroke Islam does not achieve one or two but a thousand goals.

The advantages of praying individually are by no means small, but by making them conditional on the community and by establishing the ruling on imamah (leadership in prayer) and by gathering the huge gatherings for Friday and ‘Eid prayers, their benefits have been increased several times. There is no doubt that celebrating fasting individually is a major source of moral and spiritual training, but by describing that all Muslims must fast during the month of Ramadan, these benefits have greatly increased. Charity also has many advantages even if it is dispensed with individually, but with the establishment of a central financial center (treasury of the Islamic State) for collection and disbursement, its utility goes beyond measurement.

The same applies to Hajj. If everyone has to do this individually, the impact on people's lives will remain significant. But making it a collective action that enhances its effectiveness to a certain extent, giving it a whole new dimension.
