Taste the Famous Vietnamese Pho Soup

Evolution of mankind has brought many changes in the needs, habits and the lifestyle of humans. However, the need to eat food has remained constant. People need food to live. In the recent times the concept is changing and now people choose to live for food. This love for food has resulted in the preparation of various food items which are made of some common ingredients.Along with this, the diversity of culture among the people of this world has also been infused into the food habits. This has led to the birth of unique cuisines that are native to a particular region.

Among all the famous cuisines like Chinese, Indian, Mexican and Thai, Vietnamese cuisine has also taken much popularity. From the name, it is easily understood that this cuisine is a native of Vietnam. They have some unique dishes which are absolutely delicious! The common ingredients used are Nuoc mam, which is a fermented fish sauce, tamarind and kalamansi citrus fruit juice, cane sugar and a variety of spices and chilli peppers to give those dishes a mixture of sweet, sour and salty and hot flavours. Some of the most famous dishes are:

  1. Banh mi

It is a type of sandwich of baguette variety. It is stuffed with a variety of fillings like green vegetables, omelette and pate.

  1. Bun cha

This is a type of small-sized hamburger that comes with a barbecued pork patty. It is usually served with rice noodles and vegetables and a sweet flavoured sauce.

  1. Pho

The Pho Soup is a typical Vietnamese rice noodle soup that is often served at breakfast. It is basically a bowl of pork or chicken soup that is flavoured with coriander leaves and ginger. It comes along with rice noodles, slivers of chicken, beef or pork, and spring onions.

  1. Goicuon

These are spring rolls which have a filling of green vegetables, coriander, crab meat, shrimp and minced pork. This is a very famous dish and usually, they are served with a bowl containing mint and lettuce.

  1. Cao lau

This contains a plate full of rice-flour noodles, beansprouts, croutons made of pork rings. It is served with mint and star anise, along with a topping of pork slices, grilled rice-flour crackers, and crispy rice paper.

Conclusion-Vietnamese food is a unique cuisine which contains a wide variety of dishes that are relished all over the world. Some of the famous dishes like the Pho Soup are absolutely delicious. This cuisine is definitely worth giving a try.
