The hair transplant procedure is the most effective way to treat any type of hair loss by making the possibility of regrowth of hair from the site where it has been lost. The hair transplant cost in India is a reasonable cost option that gives the facilities of standard measures for hygiene and cares with the expert guidance of the surgeon to achieve the best results. The procedure of hair transplant is an easy and quick way to restore natural hair via the hair graft extraction from the area where it is destined to remain permanently in nature, i.e., the back and sides of the scalp. The safe donor part of the scalp contains the permanent hair roots and that is why it is primarily considered in the hair transplant procedure.

The extraction technique in the procedure has a chief role that decides the overall success of the procedure by giving the best number of hair roots in order to cover the bald area effectively.

Two types of techniques are prevalent in the Hair Transplant surgery is described below:

  1.       The FUT Hair Transplant: The FUT or the strip method of the surgery involves the excision of the strip from the safe donor part only that later sent to the dissection job under the higher magnification of microscopes, i.e., the 20X and 200X. The dissection job is minutely performed by the technicians then the dissected and viable grafts are used in the implantation job. In this way, a patient gets the most viable number of hair roots and achieves the desired aesthetic goal of the procedure.

The Advantages of the FUT Technique:

  •          The FUT gives the permanent results as the roots are extracted only from the safe donor part of the scalp
  •          The strength of extraction in the FUT is maximum as it is done via the strip excision that can give you a mega number of grafts/hair roots
  •          The higher grade of Norwood baldness can be easily covered via the FUT technique if a person has a good donor supply on the back and sides of the scalp
  •          It is cost-effective because once you receive the permanent hair roots, it never falls out and one can get the best possible number of grafts just in a single session
  •          It provides the opportunity to have multiple sessions from the same donor part that makes the technique decision a worthy one!
  1.       The FUE Hair Transplant: The FUE or the follicular unit extraction procedure of the hair transplant caters the multiple punching processes in order to extract every single number of hair roots. The FUE extraction is done via the motorized punching machine or the robotic extraction machine that adds perfection in the extraction job in terms of speed and number but doesn’t ensure us about the sustainability of the results. It is also known as the blind technique because the extraction is free from the exact angle and direction that may lead to the damaging of hair roots.

The Advantages of the FUE Technique:

  •          The FUE is performed for transplanting the body hair, i.e., the body hair transplant.
  •          It is the most suitable when a patient needs the hair transplant for the lesser grade of baldness, i.e., the NW-I, II, or III.
  •          It is performed to sort out the problem of the Alopecia areata or the spot baldness
  •          It is also applied to perform the eyebrow, beard or moustache hair transplant.

Conclusions:

On the whole, we can say that the procedure of hair transplant gives the best outcome by giving the permanent hair roots only if the extraction technique is applied to the FUT/strip method of the surgery.
