Buying furniture is great fun because you are adding brand new stuff into your home. However if you want to keep within your budget and make sure you get the best products quality-wise, you have to know what you're doing. 

Here are some questions you can take into the store with you;

Do you have other items in the same price range? 

Before you make up your mind, always check within your budget what other brands and models are available. This might confuse you a little but at the end of the day, it will help you make the best purchase possible.

How do you deliver, and how long will it take? 

Even if you are a regular customer, never assume anything about deliveries especially during sales seasons. Your order might be a custom order, or they might have changed their policies. Ask about any additional delivery charges as well, and whether they'll call before delivering your furniture.

What guarantees do you have? 

Before you buy anything, you have to ask for what the guarantee covers. If the item will fall apart next week and you will find that customer service doesn't answer the phone, they you're throwing money away! Find out about any guarantees the shop offers. Find out what is covered and if the guarantees are in writing. Some stores have price guarantees, where they match other retailer prices. 

Can you remove my old furniture? 

You might have tried to get rid of old furniture in the past. You know it is a pain. Some companies offer pickup services when they come to deliver the new stuff. They only charge a little extra for that. So make sure to ask! 

Can I get a better price? 

This is not just a question for the salesperson but also you. Can I get this same product at a cheaper price? Some stores have the same items on sale on their website. So make sure you check that out. If it is not a big chain storem always bargain and ask what price they can do for you.
