Fires can destroy property that costing thousands of dollars, cause serious injuries, and take lives. One of the key strategies for maintaining a safe workplace and preventing fires and accidents is Fire safety training. Most fire safety courses offer both classroom-based learning and practical training experience, educating attendees on how to respond or act in the event of an emergency, and how to use fire protection equipment (such as fire extinguishers) properly, how different types of fire can start and the best ways to resist these types of fires.

With proper and accurate fire safety awareness training, every worker in a site can eliminate fire hazards and react quickly and efficiently if a fire breaks out suddenly. Without proper training, a small event can immediately start to become a major incident with devastating consequences.

  • Faulty Electrics. Faulty electrics are the biggest reason of workplace fires, loose wires, plugs that are overloaded and worn equipment can all make for a potential death trap.
  • Flammable and Combustible Materials. 
  • Human Error. 
  • General Negligence. 
  • Arson.

The fire caused by carelessness can be the result of:

  • Hot surfaces too close to heating equipment

A proper risk management, assessment and all efforts to identify and assess risk due to fire, organization size and complexity, and the constantly growing risk environment can embarrass the ability to make informed, effective decisions.
