Know The Difference Between The Axial And The Centrifugal Fan

The countless kitchens and bathrooms have an axial fan installed.  The fan blades are mounted on the axle from the motor and also a bit like an aircraft propeller. The axial fan, blades draw air linearly and push it out the back from the fan body, which is known as the spigot. The average flow rate of this fan is around 70 meter cubed per hour. This flow rate is best fitted for the small bathrooms having the shot run of the duct through the wall. Moreover, some fans can draw 97m3/h and can be ducted up to 5m. But, it is true that all axial fan works best on short size duct from which the moisture and bad smell can be removed. This is because they have a tendency to push back the air pressure, where the air in the duct has no longer moves. Such fans can be used for both residential and commercial verticals.

However, the centrifugal fan is a little different. It does not have axial blades, its blade is like a drum or circular plate configuration, or you can say the ribs attached around its periphery having space in the middle, which is known as the impeller. It pushes the air down an exit duct to the fan case at 90 degrees to the impeller. The fan rotates air then rushes to neutralize the lack of air pressure through the impeller, the air is then pushed out of the duct and the cycle continues. This creates much greater air pressure and greater efficiency. If you have duct run centrifugal blower fan will be far better than an axial fan. But, the axial fan is best for small duct and provides excellent results with minimal noise.

According to your space requirement, both fans are equally important. All you have to do is find the best supplier of the 12V fan supplier for the best results. Remember; don’t deal with the dealers who supply these fans at a cheap rate. Deal with a dealer who has carved reputed image in the market. This is because with rich experience come great ideas and improved quality. So, what are you waiting for? Go online and find the best dealer of the fan.
