Proposal writing: A complete information about series of activities aimed at resolving a particular issue is termed as Proposal writing.

Important Components

  1. Brief Title Page: Most companies will define the format of the title page. Some agencies use unique forms for storing primary administrative and fiscal data of the project. The titles need be brief that conveys the proper message and specifies the nature of the work.
  2. Summary: The funder may state the effective problems that are addressed by the applicants, find out the solutions and then put forth your objectives and methods related to the project.
  3. Proposal with few sections: Long and the brief proposal should make use of tables and charts. For small proposal use of a table is not necessary. If your project consists of various tables, figures,and content, then it is highly recommended to make use of tables. If all of them are included in the project, you need to follow the order
  • The table content should be numbered with Roman numerals in lower case
  • The table of content should have all essential parts and division

Introduction of Proposal: The proposed introduction should always start with capsule statement and then introduce the topic to other members.  This will include a statement of problems, the purpose of research and the significance of theresearch. Literature review writing helps to determine the nature of the research.
  2. The literature review should be selective:  make sure that you are clear with the research issues and what has been achieved so far. To give proof of your competence in the same field. Tell why the previous work should be carried further. By discussing on the works, you have done the reader should get a clear view of how will you work differently on the same project.
  3. Proposed research details:Make use of methods and various approaches in your project.  You should always provide a detailed description of the proposed research and address it to other members of your field. This part is considered as the heart of the proposal and used primarily for technical reviews.
  4. Reference List:  choose a style to follow throughout the proposal and be consistent in using them. Do follow the style carefully to maintain proper flow.
