Parque Nacional Tortuguero:

Just for the mere fact that you arrive by boat (or the lucky ones in light aircraft or helicopter) and not by road, making this a destination like few others. On the one hand, it is carried away by the Caribbean rhythm and the coconut milk seasoning the most typical dishes that are served in wooden cabins made with bright colors.

But on the other it allows you to take a look at the beaches where marine turtles come to spawn at night. This is a show that pays for itself the trip to this corner of the Caribbean, but not the only one since inland there is a network of canals that can be traveled by canoe and that will make you think of navigating in the Amazon.

Arenal Volcano:

In a country with volcanoes immensity and not a few that are active, there is an indisputable king and that is part of any route that is made in Costa Rica. The Arenal is a real volcano, of which we would know how to draw even a small child, and sometimes if the clouds do not cling selfishly to it, it lets see lava come out of its crater and hear the tremors and explosions that happen in the inside of a similar cauldron.

Poas Volcano:

Its conical silhouette is not as suggestive as that of the Arenal, but the Poas volcano does not need it because it allows you to climb to the top of a vaporous crater (the largest in the country) that emanates sulfur in full fumaroles. Let you see it before the fog completely covers it, which happens sooner than we would like which requires getting up early and praying to the spirit that lives in the Poas so that it has mercy on us and we show its volcanic beauty.

Ostional:

In the province of Guanacaste, and we go to the Pacific, they also go to nest the turtles. In protected places like Ostional, there are nights where not one or two attend, but hundreds of them in one day to give to our eyes one of the greatest shows that you can attend in your Costa Rica trip.
