Pokemon GO: New Legendary Lunch Hour Event for Trainers

Posted by Aida Martin on March 18th, 2019

Since the new year 2019 has begun, Niantic has been coming up with new ideas and content on daily bases, and in the similar fashion developers of Pokemon GO have come up with a new type of event for gamers to experience in the title.

Recently the first test for Lunch Hour Event took place on the 14th of March at 12 PM, which was live for one full hour. During this Lunch Hour Event, Pokemon trainers will be able to spot many more Pokemon as the spawn rate during this event would drastically increase.

Niantic has stated that this new event was live during 12 PM to 1 PM for all the players to avail them with exclusive Pokemon and items during the lunch hours so that players can enjoy Pokemon GO during their school and office hours.

Moreover, the team of developers at Niantic are also requesting for the precious feedback from the users and community members to improve upon the tested event and avail players with much better Lunch Hour Events for every week.

In addition to the improved spawn rate, Pokemon GO players would also be able to play Raid Battles which are currently featured in an entirely different manner. This would allow players to have a high possibility to indulge in high valued Raid Battles and players can have a lot of fun during their lunchtime.

Currently, the Legendary Lunch Hour event is not the only ongoing event; instead, players are also trying to secure a shiny Rayquaza pocket monster for themselves. The Rayquaza has been reintroduced to the title after almost a year with its special Raid weekend.

This beast Pokemon is a very unique flying dragon type Pokemon which provide solid support during battles, so all the trainers who have failed to catch a Rayquaza previously are making a full effort to capture this legendary type and include this Pokemon to their Pokedex.

The Special Raid event will be available till March 14th so players should make a well-planned strategy before trying to catch this monster. To catch this wild Pokemon, trainers should pick Ghost, Fairy or Ice-type Pokemon in there playing six as Rayquaza is week against such Pokemon types. But if trainers have a dragon type with them, they should definitely include them in there playing team as dragon type Pokemon can counter other Dragon-types.

Still, the best means to catch this legendary type is by attacking this Pokemon with your friends as collective effort results in a much more effective battle and makes high probabilities of winning the match.

Hopefully, this new Legendary Lunch Hour event becomes permanent, and trainers get much more special Pokemon to complete their Pokedex.  Let’s see what feedback and reviews are sent to Niantic and how would they use them in improving the in-game experience.
