JOSAA REPORTING CENTRE 2019

Once the Candidate registers themselves for Joint seat Allocation Authority, The candidates are required to report for different counselling rounds at the reporting centres allotted by the counselling Authority of JOSAA. The candidate has to report at the centre for Document verification process and the confirmation for seat allotment for the Admission in top institutions under Joint seat allocation Authority. The counselling reporting centre can be allocated for the candidate anywhere across India by the JOSAA authority. The allotment letter for the JOSAA counselling 2019 reporting centre is released online after the registration, where the centre venue, date and time will be mentioned for the particular candidate.

What is JOSAA reporting centres?

The eligible candidate registers for the JOSAA online. once the student is done with registration, the counselling process starts, the seat allotment process is done and after that when the candidate is allocated for a seat they need to report at the counselling centre for the Document verification and confirmation of the allotment done. If in case a student fails to verify the required document, his/her seat allotment would be cancelled. Also, the failure in reporting to the centres will also be lead to the cancellation of allotment. Seat confirmation will only be after the document are positively verified and the candidate meets the eligibility criteria.

                                                                              

   Important things about JOSAA reporting centre

    • The candidate will have different reporting centre for IITs and NITs. The candidate who has locked in their choice for NIT, IIIFT, GFTIS will be reporting for NIT only.

    • In case A candidate anyhow misses the opportunity to report at the centre of JOSAA 2019 and his/her is allotted for the seat. In that case, that candidate will not go for the other or remaining rounds of JOSAA 2019 seat allocation.

    • The candidate who misses the opportunity to report at the centre can later participate in special CSAB rounds. CSAB round will be held after all allocation rounds are done. This round would be for NIT, IITS and GFTIS only.

    • The allotment change from NIT to IIT, in that case, a candidate must report to the IIT reporting centre of JOSAA. Failure in doing so could lead to the cancellation of seat allotment.

    • After the sixth round, the Applicant must report to the final allotment institutes and go for the Admission process.

     

     JOSAA 2019 Dual reporting

A candidate has to go for the Dual reporting when their first allotment for one category is done and their allotment for a second round is done in the different category. The reporting centre for JOSAA 2019 for IITs,NITS and other institutes are different. If in case the candidate fails to report for next allotment, when he/she has to go for the dual reporting, he/she will lose out both the offered seat through JOSAA 2019.

However, the place of centre mentioned on the different website are tentative can be changed or extend if required.
