Poets have sung their roses over the centuries. Authors welcome their stories and mysteries.

Artists draw, paint and photograph their timeless beauty. Rome, Paris, Madrid, New York: Everyone has their own special place in the world.

But none of these can approach London, both in historical significance and in modern glory.

London.

A town where, within a few blocks, visitors can see the assembly of the ancient fortified Roman town of Londinium, the medieval Tower of London Bridge Victorian Tower and modern shops along Commercial Road.

At the same time, London is exciting and scary, and the typical tourist rarely visits more than the usual known places.

Almost all of them come to see Tower, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and St. Paul's Cathedral, and for good reason: These, along with the characteristic red buses and black taxis, are iconic symbols of greatness London.

But only after some visits to London, visitors can begin to discover what the city really is about. London is much more than postcard tourist attractions it is famous for.

The soul, the striking heart, of this place is not found in Westminster, but in its winding alleys, alleys, hidden gems of parks and most importantly in the people who call it home.

London is undoubtedly the most diverse and multicultural city in the world and is home to people of all nationalities and religions.

From the invasion of the Romans from 43 ° C to the current influx of Eastern Europeans, people throughout history have made London their choice.

Today, the city has residents for approx. 270 countries that speak more than 300 languages.

The vagabonds through the streets of Hounslow will find Muslims living with the Hindus and the Sikhs. Not far away is Richmond upon Thames home to a large South African population.

In the East End, many thousands of Bangladeshis have chosen to settle in Tower Hamlets.

This incredible variety of ethnic groups is just one of the things that make London so special.

Along with their language and beliefs, these new Londoners have brought their customs and food to the city.

England used to be famous for its bland and boring food, but today, both residents and visitors can choose from a seemingly endless array of menu offerings.

A bit of local wisdom in London says the best way to determine the quality of an ethnic restaurant is to come in and visit the other diners.

Find a group of Indians (or Asians, as they are known in the United Kingdom) who, for example, eat at an Indian restaurant, and it is pretty well guaranteed that the food will not only be delicious but also authentic.

From its recent Best Indian Restaurant in London, through its dark and winding Victorian streets, to its gleaming stages in the West End, this city will take more life to explore and discover.

The only way to know London really, not to be a tourist, but a traveler, is to let the guides find a good map of the city and start walking.
