HEXAGON STEEL TUBE

Hexagonal steel tube is also known as shaped steel pipe, which has octagonal  tube, rhumbatron, oval tube and other shapes. Special section tube includes cross-sectional and non-circular, constant or bariable wall thickness, varying in diameter and wall thickness along the direction of length, having a symmetrical or asymmetrical section. Such as square,  rectangular, trapezoid and spiral. Hexagonal steel tube can adapt to the particularity of service conditions, save metal and improve the labor productivity of parts manufacturing. It is widely used in aviation, automobile, shipbuilding, mining, machinery, agricultural machinery, construction, textile and boiler manufacturing. The methods of producing profiled pipe include cold drawing, electric welding, extrusion and hot rolling etc.

Hexagonal hollow steel is widely used in various structural tools and mechanical parts. Compared with the round tube, hexagonal tube  generally has a greater moment of inertia and section modulus, it has a greater resistance to bending and torsion and it can greatly reduce the weight of the structure to save steel.

Hexagonal steel is a type of shaped steel, it also known as hexagonal bar, bar with a regular hexagon section. It  takes the opposite length S as the nominal size. The hexagonal steel can be composed of various stressed members according to the different needs of the structure, and it can also be used as connecting parts between members. It is widely used in a variety of building structures and engineering structures, such as beam,  bridge, transmission tower, lifting transport machinery, ship industry furnace, reaction tower, container rack and warehouse shelves.
