How to choose a honeycomb blinds fabric?

Most people have heard about cell tones because of the incredible benefits they offer with regard to isolation, filtering and blocking capabilities. What most people do not realize is that isolation is as crucial during the summer months as during the winter months. During the summer, insulation can help reduce cooling bills, keep the house cooler and block out the sun's rays.

The benefits of cellular honeycomb blinds include:

  • Light filtering capabilities / light blocking capabilities
  • Superior insulation
  • Noise reduction
  • Reduction of energy costs in the whole house.
  • Wireless options for child safety.
  • Top-down options for light management and privacy.

 1. Form of the honeycomb.

Honeycomb blinds, also known as cell curtains, come in a variety of shapes, from traditional H-shaped cells to D-shaped cells. D-shaped cells are designed to better maintain the accordion shape. Our soft touch fabric for cell tones, double cell fabric and three cell fabrics is made with D-shaped cells.

 2. Type of material

Honeycomb blinds are generally available in two types of fabric: spun lace with aluminum interior and knit link with aluminum interior. The spun lace (series HSLB) is a material softer and more resistant than the union by points (series HTMB-P). Spin lace is more effective in isolating heat and cold than stitching. For larger cells, such as 9/16 "(38 mm) and 3/4" (45 mm). Spin lace (HSLB series) is preferable because it looks thicker. For 3/8 "(25 mm) cells, both have their own characteristics, HSLB, the color is softer, but the HTMB-P profile is stronger.

 3. Number of cells

The greater the number of cells, the more insulating honeycombs insulation. Mosquito repellent fabrics are ideal for insulation from cold and heat, as well as for noise reduction. A double-cell screen will provide better insulation than a single-cell awning.

 4. Filtration of light.

The Blackout Cellular curtains and the fabric that darkens the cells perfectly darken sunlight and protect it from the sun so that everyone in the house can sleep more. They are also perfect for newsrooms, reduce light and avoid the annoying appearances that ruin your favorite movies, video games and sporting events.

5. Double the size

One of the reasons why cell dyes give excellent dark tones is the hollow honeycomb design. The cells are built in such a way that they can easily capture the air and insulate their windows. The most common dimensions are:

Honeycomb blinds come in a wide variety of colors. For a more spectacular look, they can be associated with curtains or Roman blinds. The size of the folds varies for cellular honeycomb blinds ranging from small folds to medium to large folds.
