Join Mikumba Diving on our budget liveaboard Raja Ampat, for one of the best diving experiences you could ever have.

A typical day on our Raja Ampat liveaboard “RatuPelangi” starts off with an early morning, and a small breakfast of toast and cereal, before we have the briefing for our first dive of the day.  We then get ourselves kitted up, and load up the dinghies to take us to our first dive site, where after a final check, we’re ready to Daily Dive Trips.  Depending on the current, the Cruise Director will choose the best sites for appropriate times of the day, where certain dives we will try to dive with little to no current, other dives are better with a stronger current, as we’re hoping to see the big stuff. People come from all over the world to dive with oceanic mantas in Raja Ampatso there’s a good chance we’ll see them.

After the first dive, it’s time for our big breakfast, followed by a rest either on our comfy sundeck, or if you want to hide from the sun, you can relax and have a game of cards on one of the big tables in our dining area.  We’ll then have our second dive, before a tasty lunch, where we’ll hopefully be talking about how awesome it is to dive with manta rays!

After another relaxing break, it’s time for our third dive of the day – yet another fantastic dive, this time we’re at a sheltered wall, looking for macro life to take some pictures of – will we be lucky enough and get to see the wonderful but deadly blue ring octopus, or do we need to get our magnifying glass out to spot a pygmy seahorse?  Whichever it is, Raja Ampat really does have some of the best diving in the world.

After another snack on the boat, it’s time for a night dive – here we’re looking for the weird and wonderful critters that make Raja Ampat diving so special – there’s not many places you get to see such a variety of marine life all in one day.

Then it’s time to go back to the boat for a hot shower and a delicious dinner before sleeping it off, ready for the next day.  You won’t regret joining us on the best liveaboard in Raja Ampat to have the trip of a lifetime.
