Superheroes in movies, cartoons and books are characters with superpowers. Power is beyond the ordinary and surpasses what’s considered normal or natural. For this reason, it is considered only a work of fiction. But the reality is, anyone can be a superhero in real life. After all, superheroes are in high demand in today’s world.

These people have the ability to accomplish everything where ever they go. They have a level of productivity that seems almost unreal. The question is, can anyone achieve such high levels of productivity?

And the answer to that is YES!

Productivity powers human brain, and It is what powers businesses to grow and provide solutions to customers. Ever wondered how cheap dissertation writing services manage to offer such good work at such low rates? It is through the productivity of its employees.

So how does one set out on the journey to improve personal productivity? Well, this can be done by adopting the following characteristics.

Prioritise Tasks

Highly productive people understand that time is money. They know that time is of the utmost importance. They also know that not every task at work is of equal importance. This is why they prioritise their tasks and work on the most important ones first. This helps them to get the bulk of the work done, pro-actively, saving time in the process.

Adopt Deep Work

Deep work is a term coined by Cal Newport in his book Deep Work: Rules for Focused Success in a Distracted World.

He stated in his book that deep work is the ability to focus, without distraction, on a cognitively demanding task. Deep work is an increasingly rare skill in the modern age. With technology being integrated into our lives, everything is easily attainable. This is affecting our attention spans. Deep work is exactly the opposite of short attention spans. Productive people master the art of deep work. When they start working on something, they drown themselves into it completely. They eliminate all types of distraction and go into a state of trance. Time flies by when they get themselves busy in a task.

Deep work is an ability that not only makes a person productive but also enables the attainment of extraordinary results, far beyond what an average person can accomplish.

Make a List of Distractions

Our surrounding is full of distractions. By keeping a list of all the known distractions and including possible disruptions, we can remove these interruptions beforehand. Fewer distractions lead to more work, and actively removing distractions will ultimately mean a much higher level of productivity.

Take Breaks

Excellent productivity doesn’t mean working on something non-stop for hours. Most people mistake productivity for grinding. In fact, the highest level of productivity is achieved through smart work. And no smart work is complete without appropriate breaks. Our brain is a muscle, and much like every other muscle, it gets tired. That is why it’s important to take breaks to rejuvenate the mind.
