Until now I have started the professional learning of Broadcasting and Hosting for three years. With my passion and affection for this profession, I have determined to be a hostess, devoting myself into the field of media arts. However, embraced within the general public media and the prevalent digital media, I realized my knowledge narrowness. To become an informed hostess, I should break through the limitations and parochialism of my undergraduate major of Broadcasting and Hosting. In the digital age, I need new media knowledge and literacy through further theoretical education and practical experience of media. I am confident that through the course of pursuing a masters’ degree, I would improve myself up to an advanced level so that realize my dream of being a competent  hostess with strong abilities of media production, program design, and commercial promotion.

 Your program of MSc Design and Digital Media attracts me greatly. This is a unique program of study that addresses my need for professional education in digital technology. Based in a lively studio environment, the program develops wide skills in digital techniques and a critical framework to appraise the application of these technologies, which just addresses my requirements as a learner who wants to be informed by first-hand knowledge of the technical possibilities of digital technology and desires an awareness of social, cultural and business contexts. I believe through the combined teaching of lectures, seminars, tutorials, practical sessions and studios, students there will develop the ability to work cooperatively in groups as well as encourage original thinking and independent achievement and creative ability.

I am confident to qualify for your graduate education, because during my undergraduate study years I have built advantageous academic foundations. Meanwhile, through helping with producing online videos, I got familiar with the whole process of video production, from script-writing, instrument-preparing to directing and film-making. I perceived the authentic nature of digital technologies and performing arts, which again and again intensified my determination to enhance my awareness and understanding of digital culture and technology by seeking an advanced training.

In addition to my working experience, I also have participated in diverse Host Competitions. Through which, I showed artistic talents in dance performance, a fertile mind and outstanding performing style. At the mean time, my hosting techniques and strain capacity were reinforced greatly.

With the harvest of academic achievements and the accumulation of practical experiences, I am more confident in my future development with a better acquisition of digital media.
