For every person traveling to a particular country, there must be a reason that is driving the person to tour in that country. The same case applies to all tourists and visitors who visit Africa as a continent. The tourists that visit Africa always have a specific purpose and reason to come to Africa and not to another continent. Although there are geographical wonders, unique landscapes, ancient history, and also beautiful adventures. The following are some of the reasons to visit Africa:

  1. Precious Wildlife

The Swahili word safari means venture, or to travel, and an African safari gives a chance to see untamed life in its natural environment. The main attraction for most tourists and visitors is the Big 5; lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo, which are found in most of the national parks in Africa. In Botswana and Kenya, there are many elephants, and they can be seen as they come down to drink water on the streams in the parks and mountains. Every year the migration of wildebeest and zebra carries ascend to their roaring feet, on the fields of the Serengeti in Tanzania.

Namibia’s desolate deserts are known for slippery Springbok and Gemsbok. The rain forest in Uganda and Rwanda are home to the ensured gorillas while Madagascar charms the more tourists with its remarkable wildlife. There are more than 1100 unique types of warm-blooded animals in Africa and more than 2600 types of feathered creatures. Africa also has magnificent sceneries with vast savannas, stunning beaches, and dramatic mountains.

 2. There are a variety of Landmarks in Africa.

Of all the magnificence that is Africa, there are a couple of must-see landmarks that stand out over the rest. Table Mountain in Cape Town is one of the markers, and whether you are climbing to the highest point of passing by Cable Car, no visit to the city is finished without reaching the top. Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania as the highest point in Africa. There are more and more climbers and hikers that go to this mountain to pursue a different experience.

One of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, Victoria Falls, attracts vast numbers of tourists who come to see it as it cascades with full force into a deep crevice at the meeting point of Zimbabwe and Zambia, shooting spray 400 meters into the sky. Mount Nyiragongo, an active volcano situated inside the Virunga National Park in DR Congo, is in charge of 40% of Africa's famous volcanic eruption and is home to the world's biggest magma lake. Mount Kilimanjaro is the tallest unsupported mountain on the planet. All these landmarks play a significant role in attracting tourists.

3. There are many water-based encounters

Water-based encounters in Africa cannot be ignored since Africa has so many water bodies and a magnificent coastline. For instance, dhow cruising in the Quirimbas Archipelago in Mozambique with merely the blending of the sails and fishers is one of the most real things tourists will love to do and watch. There are also very many islands in Africa like Madagascar. Most tourists will come to Africa to hop from the countless islands to the countries with coastlines of their choice. Other water encounters include kayak trips, swimming, fishing, sailing, birds and whale and dolphin watching and other activities that tourists look for in Africa.

  1. Africa has so many delightful Beaches

The enchanting mix of bush and beach will finish any African itinerary and enable you to incorporate genuine beach living and marine exploration into your trek. The Eastern and Southern African coastlines are the spot to be, with exercises, for example, swimming kayaking, sailing, snorkeling and scuba diving in the best coral reefs on the planet, morning walks, viewing the dusk and hours spent in or on the water. The list of beaches in Africa is endless and you will have a fantastic time if you choose to spend your vacation in any of the beaches. South Africa's Western Cape offers the sun searcher for the most part forsaken shorelines with smooth white sand, while Mozambique and her islands, Zanzibar, sublime Seychelles and welcoming Mauritius fill in as brilliant warm water choices be it for a family occasion, special first night or romantic wedding you're forward to having.

5. Africa has friendly people and many cultures.

The African culture is so rich and various that it changes one country to the other. Africa has so many tribes and sub-tribes but with amicable people. These tribes and sub-tribes have different cultures with music, beliefs, customs art, food language, and oral literature. Since other continents do not have so many tribes and sub-tribes like Africa, this makes tourists come and see the lifestyle of these people. The most attractive are thee Maasai of Kenya, the Zulus of South Africa's KwaZulu Natal and the customarily roaming San Bushmen of the Kalahari desert, and the, the Owahimbas in Northern Namibia. The tourists are attracted to the local cuisine and the cultures.

  1. To have a taste of the Africans food and wine

Africa is the place one finds a mixture of culture and flavors. Customary African guest is served close with carefully assembled items sourced from the cultivator. Apart from that, every nation has its very own style of food. Piri chicken and newly gotten crawfish in Mozambique, rabbit chow in Durban, Kapenta with sadza in Zimbabwe, German charcuterie and wiener in Namibia and delightful Injira in Ethiopia. Any place you get yourself, sustenance is a piece of the way of life of sharing, and mindfully arranged suppers will charm the energetic foods.

  1. The climatic conditions in Africa are friendly

Most continents are affected by harsh climatic conditions due to the different seasons available. Since most countries in Africa have favorable weather conditions, most tourists come to Africa to run away from the harsh weather conditions.
