#Definition of 'technology' :-

: refers to analysis and knowledge of action, systems, and devices which are the result of   knowledge being used for practical purposes.

Another common subject of technology ethics in the enterprise surrounds the use of customer data on social media platforms now days.

 A company can collect information users put on a social media website to profile each user and use that information to target advertising to make more strong.

The same information can be sold and used to sway political opinions and costumes. This circumstance occurred in 2018 when it was revealed that the consulting firm, Cambridge Analytica was collecting information of around 50 million Facebook users.

 There was a large uproar (many people feel third-party companies collecting and selling user data is wrong) in which the occurrence became a major news story in 2018.

The use of scientific knowledge to solve practical problems, especially in industry and commerce as well as scientific art.

The specific methods, materials, and devices used to solve practical and opiones problems.

#:-Types of Technology:-

Since technology can be so simple or so complex, there are many types of technology. many type is mechanical technology, which includes wheels, cams, levers, gears, belts, and engines and many more. Things that turn, or allow motion in one direction to cause a different kind of motion, are mechanical. The wheel is probably one of the most important and focused technological advances in human history, and yet it's super simple.

Perhaps the type of technology that we're most familiar with in modern life is electronic technology, usually just called electronics, which is a complex form of technology that uses electric circuits to achieve a goal. Electric circuits can also vary in complexity. If you have a look good at a circuit board with dozens of apparently random pathways mixed in with various components, you know how complex electronics can be. But, anything that runs on electricity is electronic.
