Likewise, religious males, thus pious females are also devotees in order to perform all pillars of Islam as much as they have access. Yet, there are some differences between both of them. For example, Salah (Prayer) of five times is Fard on both male and female, however, it is performed in different ways. For males, Salah is mandatory (Fard) as adult age starts. Moreover, it is not excused even in severe disease. However, there are some compensations such as offering in sitting, sleeping or gesturing. Further, it must be performed half while journey at some certain distance.

On the other hand, for females, Salah also starts form adult age but it is not allowed in some certain circumstances such as the menstrual period. Because, some pillars of Islam such as Salah, Sawm, and Hajj require a sacred body as well as the soul. Since females naturally have a menstrual period which is haram in Islam. So, that is the reason females are not allowed to offer prayer, perform Sawm, and Hajj.

There are two more Ibadah (worship) such as Itikaf and Umrah which are also prohibited from being performed from females in case of the menstrual cycle. If females get a chance to perform Umrah with the cheapest package for umrah then they should away from Holy Kaabah to touch it. As the Holy Kaaba is the House of Allah (SWT) which was built by Prophet Ibrahim (AS) by the Divine order.

Allah (SWT) ordered Prophet Ibrahim (AS) to make His house holy and sacred from all kinds of haraam (prohibited) things. Therefore, females are strictly prohibited to perform Tawaf round the Kaaba in the Holy Sanctuary of Makkah. But if females are in a sacred state and have an easy approach to proceed Umrah, so they must render themselves before Allah (SWT) in His House (Holy Kaaba).

Also, females have some differences in such holy Ibadah which must be understood by them before performing it. In fact, the basic purpose of Umrah is to recall the sacrifices and trials of the Abrahamic family and show devotion after realizing them. When pilgrims feel the real purpose of life, so they strongly vow in the House of Allah (SWT) not to commit sins either majors or minors. That’s why it is divinely said that when pilgrims make Tawaf around the Kaabah with other rituals of umrah, they are like new baby-born.
