Although some Europeans believe that Romania is a country that does not have much to offer or is known only as the country where Dracula lived, our country means much more than that. Romania is more wonderful than you ever imagined. Foreigners love our food, architecture, people and beautiful rural area. Romania is endowed with beautiful, medieval cities, wonderful castles, and picturesque agricultural lands, and in the tourism category Romania, we would definitely have many to include.Tours in Romania are an unforgettable experience.
As far as tourism is concerned, Romania really has something to boast about, and if we were to recommend a few tourist points that characterize our country, here are the ones:

1. Walking through Alexandru Borza Botanical Garden - located in Cluj-Napoca, this is a massive botanical garden with green hills, an observation tower, a rose garden and even a Japanese garden.

2. Cultural immersion in Maramures - This medieval region of Romania is one of our favorites. The peasant culture is still flourishing, with an interesting mix of traditional music, hand-crafted wooden structures and colorful textiles. It's like taking a step back in time.

3. Excursion to Mount Tampa - high above Brasov, Tampa is a mountain full of interesting history. It is easy to visit with, and the climb up to it will be rewarded with a view over the city of Brasov.

4. Visit to the Romanian Patriarchal Cathedral - being one of the most religious countries in Europe, it should come as no surprise that there are churches, cathedrals and monasteries everywhere, many of them dating back centuries. This special cathedral in Bucharest still retains all its original interior paintings and icons, as well as beautiful frescoes.

5. Exploring Bucharest - a centuries-old architecture of this city will fascinate you. In Bucharest there is a very interesting transition from old to new. There are plenty of museums, cemeteries, historic sites, shopping centers, and architectural attractions to visit.

6. The wild life from the north of Dobrogei - an area that we can place in the category Tourism Romania, is the Dobrogei area; here are hundreds of wild animals and exotic birds that you deserve to see. There is also a selection of restaurants and entertainment venues, including theater and opera houses.

7. Visit to Baia Mare - If you want to have lunch in a traditional area, this city is a good place to start. From here, you will have easy access to many of the famous valleys, including Iza, Viseu, Cosatu and Mara.

8. Enter the Prislop Hour - Taking place every August, this festival is a holiday that brings together Transylvania, Moldova and Maramures. Commonly known as Prislop dance, this hour brings together a lot of traditional dances and songs, beautiful costumes, parades and of course, a delicious feast.

9. Fagaras Mountains - For those of you who are hiking enthusiasts, this is one of those hiking experiences you must definitely do. Taking along the main ridge of Fagaras, the route is one of the longest and most continuous mountain passes in Europe. Don't miss Moldoveanu and Negoiu - two of the highest peaks in Romania.

10. Visit the Danube Delta - this is the second largest and best preserved delta in Europe. There are so many wildlife to see here, and the roads will look unreal.
