Additional Pension Holders and Family Pension Holders Who Have Turned 80

Finance and Planning Minister,Mr Sudhir Mungantiwar has informed that the State Government has decided to give pension increment to the retirees and family pension holders for their services to the State Government who have crossed their 80 years. It is decided that when these pension holders cross their 80/85/90 and 100 age, from that month additional pension will be reflected.

The government has already decided to offer 10% increment in basic pension amount to the pension holders between 80 to 85 years of age, for age slab 85-90 pension increment will be 15%, for 90-95 years slab pension increment will be 20%, with age 95-100 years, slab pension amount increment will be 25% and pension holders or family pension holders who have crossed 100 years will get a 50% increment in basic pension amount.

The Finance Department has elaborated about the implementation of pension amount increments with age slabs for retirees and family pension holders through an order/circular issued on 30th July 2019.

The Finance Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar has also clarified that this decision is also applicable to the retirees and family pension holders of Government sanctioned and aided educational institutes which make it applicable for pension schemes, non-agricultural universities and non-Government colleges which are affiliated to these universities, and agricultural universities, etc.
