Operate the remote monitoring camera without an outlet

To monitor the power plant under construction, we quickly installed a surveillance solar security camera with a smartphone.

Previously, I was contacted about the connection work about three months after I applied, but this time TEPCO will not continue to connect for a while as usual.

This time the scale was small and it was troublesome to pull in temporary electricity, so there was no electricity and there was no outlet to use, but in order to keep monitoring for a while, a small solar cell was installed and is monitored for a while Decided to let.

Even if the power is switched off, the power supply will operate independently even in the worst power outage. Even if the power is cut off, the surveillance camera will not stop.

Up until now, the brackets were forcibly bent to create the mounting brackets, but I found the following brackets at the home center, so I will use them this time. Bolts are attached to both ends in a metal fitting that can be bent freely.

Use a chopping screw cut to an appropriate length.

The angle can be adjusted freely just by the length of the bolt, and the angle setting is quite easy. The angle is set to about 45 degrees, giving priority to power generation in winter. The upper side of the Bunnell is fixed directly to the pole with an insulation lock tie.

If you use a smartphone as a remote monitoring camera, the current consumption is very low, so a 5W solar panel sold by Akizuki Electronics for 1,350 yen is enough. The following panel was used.

Convenient with a backflow prevention diode. In order to optimally charge the power generation amount to the battery, it should be equipped with a battery charging module that can be controlled by MPPT, but it can be charged with reasonable efficiency just by connecting it directly to the battery.

Actually, I use a battery that is not fully charged at all, but when I check the voltage for a while after installing it, the voltage goes up day by day, so there is a surplus in terms of power right.

You can see that the voltage is increasing day by day from left to right.

Even if it doesn't charge in the first place, it works for about half a month, so even if it rains for a while, it can be used without any problems.
