Asphalt can occur naturally in the sides of lakes. It is mostly deposited in the lake sides and can be removed with the help of various equipments. Asphalt can be used for many purposes a special kind of asphalt known as porous asphalt which is used in the drainage process. This also helps from holding the fats moving flood and absorbs the precipitation occurring in it.   

There are many different types of asphalt which looks like a crack. Which includes: block cracking, slippage cracking, edge cracking, transverse cracking, alligator cracking all these crack have a different type of angle.

Sweepers:

The sweeper is normally as like a broom which helps in sweeping the road after the milling process is done. This is carried out to remove the excessive dust present which brings non-uniformity in the floor this will prevent the bonding between the base and the asphalt.

Pavers:

It is a formless machine which is laid down with a screed which is floating. Now the mixed asphalt will be hot and they are allowed to be loaded to the rear and then they are evenly leveled by the help of screed. This can be divided into two:

• Tractor- the materials will be contained by the tractor then this is moved to the rear and there they are spread out to the width you prefer for leveling the screed and also for the compaction.
• Screed- the advanced feature in the paver is the screed this determines the placing of HMA. This screed will be spread by its own with accurate width.

Milling machine:

A milling machine is used to remove the excess dust and bring a smooth surface to the pavement. The beneficial role milling performs is it provides a skid resistive surface.

Roller:

There are three basic asphalt equipment present and involves in the compaction: the pneumatic tire roller, the paver screed, and the steel-wheeled roller. In this, if the shear rate will get decreased the equipment rate will also get decreased.
