NESTOR MARTIN “Jun” MARFORI JR., Trainer, Consultant and Executive Coach

Let us get to know one of the Directors of POWERinU Training and Coaching Philippines, Inc., Nestor Martin Marfori, Jr., also known as “Jun” to his friends and colleagues. Jun has a degree in Business Management from Ateneo de Manila University, and he has had a long career in Learning and Development, Leadership and Management.

Jun has also held management positions in various industries in the Philippines, handling responsibilities both in the local and regional level. Some of the positions he held include being a Saatchi’s Account Manager for US-based FMCG companies, Learning and Development Director for Convergys Philippines, Country Business Manager for the Printing/Graphics Imaging Division of Kodak Philippines, Ltd., and Global Learning Manager of Headstrong Philippines. Other roles he held include roles such as being an Employee Relations Manager, Facilitator / Trainer, and General Manager, for global companies.

Jun’s expertise lies in the areas of General Management, Leadership Development, Performance Management, Change Management, and Sales and Marketing. He has also conducted trainings on a variety of topics like Personal Effectiveness, Basic and Advanced Marketing, Change Management, Quality/Process Improvement, Consultative Selling Skills, Technical Leadership, and Facilitation/Presentation Skills. He also is a certified trainer for the Management Essentials of Cegos Asia-Pacific from the Cegos Group, Europe’s largest professional skills training provider, and one of the world’s leading Learning and Development companies.

Before joining POWERinU as a Board of Director, Jun also served as the General Manager for 6 years of Cummins Sales and Service Philippines, Inc., a wholly-owned US subsidiary of Fortune 500 and is ranked # 150.

At present, aside from being a POWERinU Director, Jun serves as a senior consultant, an executive coach, and he also delivers in-house and public trainings on leadership development, management development and organizational development. Some of his customers include Canon Business Process Services Philippines, Inc., Bombardier, Knowledge Group of Companies, Netrust, BIOEQ Energy Holdings Inc., Citisecurities, Inc. COL Financial Group, Inc., Rainchem International, Inc., NutriAsia, Inc. and a BPO in the Philippines.

Because of his ability to speak, narrate and synthesize, Jun is also a favored host and panelist during corporate or industry events such as conferences and summits, and even during small gatherings or learning sessions, such as online interviews or webinars. He has an innate ability to connect with people, and his sincerity and enthusiasm translates to great relationships he has made and sustained.
